Home foreclosures, job loss, and staggering medical bills are forcing more and more people onto the streets and through OPCC's doors. And the tragic thing is, while financial institutions, insurance giants and automakers are being handed billions in bail out funds, nonprofit organizations such as OPCC tasked with serving the human casualties resulting from this unprecedented economic crisis, are expected to expand services with less money.
This winter season, doing your part to help less fortunate men, women and families get back on their feet is, well, in the bag. Instead of going out for lunch one day, brown bag it and donate your lunch money to OPCC. For the typical tab at your favorite restaurant, you can help provide food, shelter, emergency medical care and life counseling to the thousands of people OPCC serves each year.

It is only through the generous support of our community that we can continue our work through such tough economic times. No matter what you spend for lunch on a given day, $25, $50 or $100, your donation can help OPCC turn a dead end into a fresh start for thousands.
